Tourmaline is a tiger Fantasm who resides in Moonview City. As a member of the ARTIFACT group, she travels the land in order to get rid of any anomalies- whether in Fantasium, or outside of it.
Tourmaline is a tall, light orange tiger-like Fantasm with stripes in six different bright colours- red, blue, green, cream off-white, purple and pink. The purple and pink coat one ear, with the colour of the opposite ear taking on a star-shaped 'eye-spot' on the back of the ear. Her muzzle, chest, belly and parts of her limbs are a cream colour, and her eyes are brown, with hints of dull red, blue, pink and purple taking up a little bit of the bottom- red and blue in her left eye, pink and purple in her right. Like all Moonview Fantasms, her pupils are white.
As Dakota, in Pathopeir, her main orange and cream fur becomes darker, and her stripes become duller. Her eyes become fully brown.
In Somnius, her main fur becomes dark blue and her stripes become neon versions of their colours.
Tourmaline's outfit consists of relatively dull colours- a deep grey jacket over a blue zip-up vest, with blue-grey pants. She wears a collar with a large golden zip on the front, either in purple or blue depending on what she feels like, and a brown belt with a gold clasp. She may also wear bronze goggles.
Tourmaline, when not working on a job, is not serious. She jokes around, wanders, and generally does not seem to prepare herself for the next job. She tends to hang out with others, keeping mostly casual, but she is always focused. No odd thing goes unnoticed by her, no ongoings can drift by silently. She can and will know and will get to the bottom of it, no matter how serious or light her tone is.
On actual jobs, however, Tourmaline is serious. In events such as the Red Sun Incident, Tourmaline was on the case as soon as she heard- ready and planning a strategy, and ready to fight.
One of the other members of ARTIFACT- Tourmaline considers him a good friend. Easy to get along with, the two joke with each other from time to time, though Jet rarely leaves Moonview City for missions.
One of the other members of ARTIFACT- Onyx and Tourmaline get along well, though neither would say they're close. Onyx rarely leaves Moonview City, though Tourmaline doesn't mind that- a quiet moment in Oxyx's presence is enough.
One of the other members of ARTIFACT- Slate like a brother to Tourmaline. Though he isn't often out of Moonview City, he is the first member of ARTIFACT that Tourmaline will call upon as backup if she feels she needs it.
