MEADOW

Meadow is a Fantasm from the world of Pathopeir, and one of the four residing in the Fallowfields Ranger Station as refuge from an outbreak of zombie-like entities. He, alongside Mesa, are members of the station's Defense team, making sure no zombies can enter, and protecting scouts on missions.

Appearance

Meadow is a terrier-like dog Fantasm. His fur is mostly green, with some lighter greyish-green and brown patches, particularly across his ears, the bridge of his nose, above his brown eyes and on his limbs. He stands at around an average height for a Fantasm, with a chubby sort of build.
Around the Fallowfields station, he wears the regular station uniform- a greyish-jacket and dark pants, with the left sleeve of the jacket sporting the Defense Squad's shield symbol in green. However, he did have other outfits to wear, such as a pink sweater he used to hate, but grew to love with time.
During the start of the outbreak, he was injured, but not zombified, resulting in a large scar on his neck- though it isn't visible through the jacket.

Personality

Meadow is a keen individual, eager to learn about many things, from other people to any subject he finds interesting enough- mostly in terms of combat or history. Compared to Mesa, He is extroverted and talkative, willing to walk up to new people and talk with them, even inan unfamiliar town. Meadow isn't naive, however, he can tell when something is 'off' about someone, noticing odd behaviours in some of the other townsfolk before the zombies really took hold, and trying to prepare as soon as he possibly could, urging Mesa to do so too, and rescuing Riverbed from the flower shop- though he was too late to save Riverbed's friends.
Meadow displays knowledge and ability to fight without any known formal training, and has gained a level of respect from other station-dwellers, including the station's group leader Shoreline, who offered him a place on the Defense Squad alongside Mesa.

Relationships

Mesa

Mesa and Meadow tend to stay close together, though the extent of their relationship is unclear, aside from them at least being partners. The duo have been close to each other for a long time, even ending up at Shoreline's station refuge in Fallowfields together. While Meadow is usually the more talkative of the duo, whenever they're left out of earshot, they both seem quiet. Perhaps they're reflecting on past memories

Riverbed

Riverbed and Meadow have a complicated relationship. Meadow was able to save Riverbed from being cornered by zombies, sustaining his own injuries in the process, however he was unable to save Moor and Cirrus. However, the two seem to share quiet moments bonding over longing.

Shoreline

While they do respect each other, Meadow and Shoreline do not see eye to eye. They never speak to each other, letting Mesa ferry messages between them (to his chagrin), and Meadow generally refuses to be in any room alone with him. He doesn't doubt Shoreline thinks highly of him, but he also knows that her cold demeanour doesn't strike him too well, nor her treatment of him and Riverbed. Sometimes, Meadow wishes he could take Mesa and Riverbed and just get out of there, go back to his old home with them, and keep them safe there.
