Though he tends to keep to himself, locked up in his room of the ATLAS or rifling through star charts to plot a row that, inevitably, will be sidelined by Sanford's eternal struggle with the engine, when he is around the crew, the others seem drawn to him like a moth to a flame... or rather,like Cydonia is drawn to flame, a trance-like state...
