The struggles of the Daybreak Squad began with the facility, and ended with the Fantasm Gate- now within Fantasium, despite somewhat going their separate ways, everything has only been looking up. Everest particularly found some success as an auxiliary member of ARTIFACT- a member outside of Charcoal's close circle, hand-picked by Tourmaline herself after putting up a good fight- both against her, and against Opal, back when his name and origins both were still unknown to her. Without his interruption, perhaps all of Fantasium and the other worlds connecting to it would have been lost, and that day is something the two hold mutual respect for each other over.
